The Secret Garden
Las Vegas, Nevada (2/26/00)

Our time spent in downtown Las Vegas has been limited as we want to see the many spectacular sights in the surrounding area. The one day we toured the Las Vegas strip we saw The Secret Garden and Dolphins. The children were fascinated seeing the white lions, tigers, Thai elephant and dolphins. Since these animals were used in show productions, their "tame" attitude was very different from their same species normally observed in  zoo settings. These creatures continually entertained us by their playful antics with each other. Running quickly past us to "catch" another tiger by the tail was a common action among these beautiful animals.

While we were at the dolphin habitat, the children had a fun time playing ball with the dolphins. The ball would be thrown out of their "pool" to a child who would be able to throw the ball back. Playing this game with a dolphin was enjoyed by all.
